Hello everyone!
I thought I’d claw my way out of this new parenthood vortex and inform the world that our sweet little man has made his appearance!
Dorian Nakayoshi Wong was born on Friday, May 15th, 2015 (his due date, incidentally) at 4:54 pm in Billings, MT. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 19.25 inches long. Mama (that’s me….weird!) had developed a rather serious infection, so after a quick hug from his mom and dad, Dorian was whisked away to the NICU and treated with antibiotics for a couple of days. He was declared infection-free and ready to go home on Sunday, May 17th. Mama was given a clean bill of health on Monday, May 18th. Since then, the Wongs have been adrift on another planet, trying to figure out how to take care of this little guy, how to breast-feed, and how to get him to sleep at night someplace besides in his parents’ arms! (PLEASE, if you have any advice, do share!)
We’re truly enchanted by our little Dori, and can’t really believe that the two of us made something so incredible!

Not thinking you have all the answers is the perfect way to parent- because amazing Dorian will help you figure out what works best for his little personality and help the two big Wongs get it right.

Hi! Just read the May 21 post. I love the way you express your feelings, and your observations! Remember the song from “Alladin” (Disney)? Dorian has brought you into “A Whole New World!” The photos are so special. Yeah, the 3 of you have created someone so wonderful! (the raw material came from Someone, who is out there Somewhere!) So how did it go last night ?
