Becoming The Wongs:
In November of 2012, Angie and Corbet met in Santiago, Chile. The timing could not have been worse; a week prior to their meeting Angie had accepted a job in North Africa (Tunisia), while Corbet was at the end of a long-term relationship. Sharing a passion for music and upset stomachs, the two were instantly united with a bond that could only mean one thing: love.
Abandoning all logic, Angie and Corbet chose to follow their hearts in what was to become the beginning of their love story. On Easter Sunday, 2013, Corbet proposed marriage and the two wed on July 13, in an intimate ceremony on the island of Oahu. A month later, Angie and Corbet found themselves on a plane to begin their married life in Tunisia.
In the summer of 2015, the Wongs returned to Montana for the arrival of their first child, Dorian. When he was two months old, the three travelled 26 hours to their next home, Bangkok.
Two years later, in 2017, the Wongs welcomed daughter Maiko into the world in Bangkok, Thailand. They happily spent the summer bonding as a new family of four.
From Angie’s humble roots in Montana to Corbet’s laid-back Hawaiian upbringing, the two are now finding their way through life, love, and parenthood while living abroad.
Aloha,
Corbet was my good friend back in elementary school days. For some reason I decided to Google his name today. Look me up when you folks stay back on Oahu. Blessings to your beautiful family.
Take care fam.
